DAINTREE SEASCAPES HOLIDAY HOUSE
Enjoy stunning views of the ocean and mountains when you stay in one of the most relaxing and beautiful tropical holiday retreats in The Daintree. Only 10 minutes walk from pristine Cow Bay Beach, Daintree Seascapes holiday house overlooks the Daintree coast where the rainforest meets the reef.
Surrounded by the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest, Daintree Seascapes is located high on the coastal hillside with panoramic views of the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Daintree Seascapes provides perfect access to explore both of these uniquely adjoining World Heritage sites.
Originally built as a farm-house in the traditional Old-Queenslander style, the house was designed for tropical living. The building was relocated and renovated in 2004. Nowadays Daintree Seascapes is a charming rainforest retreat which is high-set amongst the tree-tops to catch the sea-breezes, making it an ideal place to unwind. Relax and soak up the natural environment in an easy-breezy tropical style, while staying in this restored timber cottage.
All rooms and verandahs boast spectacular ocean and Daintree rainforest mountain views. The Seascapes front verandah is a whale-watching, bird-watching and coast-watching paradise.
Guests can connect more closely with nature by walking alongside the rainforest to the beautiful Cow Bay beach, or by taking the surf skis to explore the nearby coast, reefs and bays.
Daintree Seascapes offers the experience of a carbon-friendly holiday where a stand-alone solar system provides your power and rainwater tanks provide your water.
While the house is well set-up for self catering, there are several local cafes, bistros and restaurants nearby if you choose to dine-out. For al fresco dining there is a barbeque or an outdoor camp fire.
Located on the coast at Cow Bay Beach, 20 mins north of the Daintree river crossing and 20 mins south of Cape Tribulation; Seascapes provides easy access to explore the beaches, the reef, the rainforest and all the tourist attractions along the Daintree coast.
